About me

Political Work

Since September 2021, I have been actively involved with the green party in the local chapter of Erftstadt. My entry into the party marked the beginning of my contribution to shaping local politics. In June 2023, I was elected as treasurer by the general assembly, and since then, I have driven numerous changes and professionalizations in the local chapter. These activities include both organizational and strategic innovations aimed at making our work more effective and clearly communicating our political goals.

In April 2024, I was nominated as the mayoral candidate for Erftstadt for the 2025 election, a role I accept with great responsibility and commitment. This nomination is not only a recognition of my past work but also an incentive to continue working for sustainable development and the well-being of all.

Professional Career

With over 30 years of experience in the IT industry, I have held various roles, from developer and architect to project manager and consultant. Currently, I work as a Delivery Manager at Nagarro and also run my own company, One Stitch Beyond. This extensive experience has taught me the importance of taking responsibility, strategic thinking, and pragmatic action.

My career has provided me with not only technical know-how but also leadership qualities and the ability to tackle complex challenges. In my various roles, I have led teams, successfully implemented projects, and always focused on sustainable solutions. I now want to bring these skills to the role of mayor to make Erftstadt future-proof and to shape transparent, sustainable, and just policies for all citizens.
